ABOUT THIS PIECE

Flex Score Arrangement of “Joy to the World”, a Christmas classic! This arrangement of “Joy to the World” is the latest installment in Miller Music Creations’ flex score series. A Grade 2/2.5 piece, this arrangement is flexible not only with its instrumentation but also with length. While this piece should ideally be performed in its entirety, measures 1-20 can be played as a shorter excerpt should it better fit the needs of your performers. The repeat is optional. Measures 16-20 can be played as an introductory tag should you wish. Part 3 carries the melody for a brief time starting at measure 21. The challenging aspect of this passage will be the “round” entrance of Part 2 one measure later. Care should be taken to ensure Part 2 doesn’t panic and start playing at the same time as the lower voices. With flexible parts and a wealth of musical options, this arrangement is easily adapted to fit your ensemble’s needs.
