Musical Theatre

Musical theatre or stage works created/published/managed by Miller Music Creations fall under one of the following categories (and may require different/unique licensing agreements):

1. Student Showcase – These are plays and musicals that can be performed on stage in a school concert setting, usually appropriate for elementary school kids. Songs are written with a piano accompaniment, but accompaniment tracks are provided. They require no set design; schools may opt for minimum costuming. (Content Rating: G)
   
   
2. Mini Musical – These are shorter, one-act musicals that can be performed within an hour. They may be original works, or they may be shorter versions of existing full-length musicals in our catalog. Accompaniment tracks, books, and lead sheets are included; instrumental sheet music is available upon request. There are no age restrictions for participants in musicals of this nature. (Content Rating: G – PG)
   
   
3. Full Versions – These selections are full-length musicals for school/or and community theater groups. Songs and subject matter may be more mature. Books, accompaniment tracks, and PV scores are included. Pit band sheet music is available upon request. (Content Rating: G – PG13)

Student Showcase products do not require licensing agreements. Mini Musicals and Full Versions do require a signed license agreement before beginning rehearsals. Royalty quotes are determined by a variety of factors including (but not limited to) number of shows, estimated tickets to be sold, house size, and the location of the performance.
